Im kind of in the same boat as you, here are some pics of both options. My problem is that I have chrome wheels so I dont know if I should keep the chrome grille to compliment them.

Where did you guys, that did, buy a midnight grille? I was trying to find one for my 2008 G35 Sedan......

It's the stock grille, you paint it and leave the top and bottom bar unpainted

I did mine this way. It took about 5 hours including drying time allowed between the 4 coats applied.

I know this is a little old, but I thought I would add my two cents.

I am in the process of option B (blacking out the whole grille with the exception of the Mt Fuji logo). I decided to get a 2nd grille from the community to be the one I painted, much cheaper than getting it from a dealer. This way if I decide at some point that I don't like the look anymore, I can switch back to my original grille.
