880 is the size for the blazers but you have to do it seperate for hids.. the ones that come with it are halogen

hey zoop,

1. do all hid bulbs fit the blazers straight out of the box, or is there a special "size" of hid bulbs? All the hid bulbs i've seen are the same.

2. I also didnt order any hid bulbs yet, what temp do you suggest to match the output of our stock xenons? 4k 5k 6k?

thanks.

ps- you think there are any circle plastic pieces that we can use to go around the projector and still fit the journey bumper slots? Might look a little more factory instead of just like someone stuck them there, might even look better with some paint. I'm going to look into this

You need size 880 bulbs to fit the blazers. The stock bulbs are 4300 k.. so get 4300k to match.. and yeah I used a rubber trim ring so that It would bend to the bumper

are the halogens and HIDs interchangeable in the Blazers? coz i might just get the Blazers and wait a little before buying a very expensive ballast/HID kit...? is this possible?

also, can i put a halogen bulb behind a projector lens, or wood that not work?

It will probably not void your warrenty. Your not doing anything that should effect it. As for the halogens you sure can usr them in the projectors plenty of car companies used to do that such as audi before 2005 or so when hids became big. It just wont have the color you want and may not be as bright but will still work very well.

currently working on this will hopefully have pics up soon! quick question if anyone can get to it before. The relay I bought has two female connections that plug into the car's fog harness to get the signal to tell it to turn on.

after reading some relay tutorials, they said that you only need one signal from one of the lights to tell the relay to turn on, but my prewired one has two connections (one for each side ) so if I just connect them both, will the car not turn on the normal fogs or what?

hope this made sense, i'll try it out and see what happens in the morning if no one responds in time lol hope it doesnt screw anything up!

Didn't want it in the center, there is too much space idunno. I still have to aim and adjust them properly, they are a little outward lol haven't even seen them at night yet

Thanks man, couldn't have done it without zoops help and the diy bumper removal so props to them. Wish I could have gotta a sports bumper, so sexy. Is it a direct bolt on? Maybe if I ever get I a fender bender I'll do the switch. Def post pics when you do!

Hey zoop, do your blazers get extremely hot to the touch too after like 10 mins?! I'm worried they are gonna melt or something. I'm only running a 35 watt kit but it gets scalding after so little time ehhh hopefully driving at night cools it a bit...
