This thread inspired me to buy some Plastidip. I haven't pulled the trigger on blacking out the emblems yet. If I black out the front emblem, I want the rear emblem to match -- and if I black out the rear emblem, I want to also black out that hideous chrome piece on the trunk that hides the rear view camera.

Please note that I blacked out the headlights and tail lights yesterday. Haven't had a chance to take pics yet, but will post pics soon.

After the 3rd time PlastiDipping my grille, I wanted something that didnt look as "rubbery" like kool_yaar said. I put a couple coats of gloss clear coat over the plasti dip and it looks MUCH better than before. Makes it shinier and smoother looking... pics to come if anyone wants

Definitely post pics. I've been thinking of doing that myself but wonder if the clear will come out all even from a spray can or not. Did you have to wet sand and buff it?

Post pics! When the sunlight hits the grille in the daytime, it needs to be darker in my opinion for mine. So I was thinkin of clear coat or a darker black over the plasti-dip.

Post post post! lol
