Smile Black V36 w/ matte black (plasti-dip) front grille pics**

I couldn't find any pics for the black V36 sedans out there with the matte black oem grille, so I did it over the weekend using the plasti-dip (thanks to all the guys who did it previously)

Here are some pics for those who want to know how it'll come out.

Loving it.

looks great, my only gripe with ppl who do this is that the headlights chrome then stands out TOO much and needs to be blacked out or have a viynl put on to hid some chrome IMO, otherwise it looks nice

Yeh.. I don't like the chrome headlights neither, but I'm not a huge fan of the blacked out headlights. So I'm just stuck. lol

It does stand out a bit with the OB paint but it doesn't look bad in my opinion. Hey if you decide down the line you don't like it you can always just peel it off.

Looks greally good. Did you consider blacking out the emblem as well?

Thanks for the photos. I was trying to find images of a Black Obsidian G35 with a blacked out grill and couldn't find anything.

Thanks. I actually did consider blacking the emblem out, but I wanted some sort of contrast on the grille, since the the front end is pretty much black everywhere minus the headlights.

A better choice might have been a semi gloss/satin black that might have gone better with your OB G37. I'm not a dipper so I'm not aware if plastic-dip comes in other sheens. Look good though....

Here is a pic of mine with the grille blacked out.

I blacked out my window surround as well...with black vinyl.

I'm really liking the blacked out Mt. Fuji emblem on the front. Did you also black out the one on the back of the car or did you leave that as chrome?
