Dashboard light swap??? possible?

I'm not feeling the middle red/orange display next to the white/purple speedometer/rpm guage (the display that shows MPG/TEMP/ETC). I really wanna change the red background to white or even to the new g37 dashboard colors. I've swapped my Acura TL's odometer lights before but I feel like the g35's dash would be insanely hard to do so I'm wondering if anyone has successfully done this?
Please enlighten me with some info. Thanks.

Edit* 2008 g35x sedan

I found a kit on eBay once, but it looked very difficult. You had to remove the LED's with a solder iron and install the new ones to change the color.

Looks like that would take a few hours to do.

Honestly, I wouldn't **** with it. A segment of my tach illumination went out and they replaced the entire cluster. Also, if you've never soldered SMT LED's like that, they're a nightmare to do.

Plus, taking apart the dash looks like it's a bitch to do.
