Found very minimal talk about this, but a few if the back lights in my cluster have failed. A few people said the bit the bullet and replaced the cluster but there has got to be a better way. Has anyone experiment with trying to get the bulbs replaced. I figure with all the LED specialty and gauge changing people it could be easy to swap new ones in.

 

Yes it's been done, Google search something like "g35driver change color of dash lights" or something, the mod threads of people changing the LEDs out for different colored ones will probably give you the best info.

 

I did the HVAC controls on my Jeep, I'm going to disassemble the dash next week and try swap some bulbs on the G.

 

Wouldn't say it's a simple swap. Especially to change colors. I believe they are soldered on

 

Same with the ones I just did, well I hope.
