I personally think threads like this are just as important as providing information of a good experience..

That's why there's the iTrader feedback as well..

All of it is geared to making us more educated consumers. It's for the purchaser to rate the sponsor as well as vice versa. If there was one buyer standing up sponsors left and right, and not sending payment, then they'd rally against that buyer as well.. Even if he made several purchases in the past that were flawless and on time.

I don't see what's so different now.. Yes.. he did a great job in the past, but recently his customer service (which was the subject of the "A Klumzyee Order" thread) has been suspect as of late. This is just somoene expounding on that further.. It's not a bash thread, it's informative.. And I for one thank you for it.. Albeit unfortunate that you're having to experience this.

After going through most of what you went through personally, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.. Like I said, I was lucky, I just had to wait through several missed shipment dates.. But when I got my parts, they fit..

I wasn't going to mention this prior to now but it parallels w/ your situation...

He did in fact give me a pretty large refund to calm my woes due to the fact that I had to wait so long, and I wasn't able to get what I originally ordered, (the modified K2).. After all that waiting, I had to get the regular K2 w/ the mesh grill because he'd sent out several modified K2s that all had the same fitment issue.. All of them had to be replaced, and he stopped making them after that.

I also told him I had bubbles in my sideskirts, he told me to take pics and he'd take care of them but that it wasn't to his benefit financially to have me send one skirt, so to get a quote and he'd take care of it.. I did that, took pics and everything.. Then when I was finally able to get back in contact w/ him (approx 2 weeks) he told me he wasn't able to cover the cost because of the FIRST refund he gave me.. We went back and forth over IM for about an hour and he decided all he could do for me was send me a roof spoiler which I had to sell to get my skirts resanded and reshot..

Again, this isn't bashing, it's simply recalling experience.. Not telling anyone what to do one way or another.

I think its BS that this guy keeps making money off this and has no customer service from what I hear. All he has to do is hire someone to sit by his phone and watch his PM's and explain to customers what is going on with their orders. If he bit off more then he can chew he should be doing something about it and showing people that he cares about their buisness. He does not sound like a very good buisness man and seems like he doesnt care.

If he had a special buy and French bought one of those products then they should be ready to go. If you make a group buy or a buy at a discounted price your should be ready and expecting alot of orders. It makes no sense how poeple can still stand behind him right now when their are so many problems arising.

I think french is entitled to his side for free and his CS rear at cost. That sounds far for having to wait 4 months for something that should have only taken 3 weeks.

I gave up on trying to contact him, although if I tried from a different phone number, he might answer. The fitment of my bumper was horrible, but to be honest, I wouldn't want another one of his products as compensation. I understand no replica fitment will be perfect, but I shouldnt have to have it cut and refiberglassed in several different places just to get it to fit. If you havent bought from him yet, dont. Thats just my .02 from experience.

Actually, it all started happening around the same time.. (earlier this year) I placed my order in Feb of this year.. When you have to wait to get your parts, and you pay for them, you're kind of caught in limbo.. Don't know what to think till they either miss a shipment date or what have you..

I won't be purchasing from him again.. I've learned my lesson..

thats because when its a new phone number and not a current customer he answers the phone and sounds confident that he can get the product to you no problem in a matter of weeks. Then you send him money and he never answers your calls again.

He never replied to "A Klumzyee Order" either..

I mean what do you really expect him to say? "Oops... my bad.."

I don't think anything is going to make anyone feel better..

I think if he replied to these threads as they arose and addressed/rectified the situations that his reputation could be saved.

it's very hard to make time when you work all day and the end of the day you just want to have a beer, why contact the customer he already has their money
Having previousy worked at Riverside Infiniti, I can say that answering PMs is not an easy job. It easily takes a few hours just to sift through the 100+ PMs I get per day. After that, calling to follow up, etc is another few hours.

Believe me, MANY vendors have complained to IB that vendors should not have to wait 1 minute between PMs.

IMO, Eric should hire someone specifically to take orders, and give updates when people call. Of course this would be a 24/7 job, as I've seen people call Eric at 2AM for updates (wtf?).
