Big Bear Trip/Cruise

We are planning a Big Bear (Snowboarding/skiing) Trip January 3rd. The plan is to get up to Big Bear early Saturday morning, and come back Sunday evening. No worries about the LA Auto Show, that runs also the next weekend too.

Re: Big Bear Trip/Cruise

I'll be lucky if I can even walk after being in Vegas for four days over New Years. If you don't get enough people and want to do this in mid February or March, my parents have a small vacation home up there that could comfortably accomodate 6-8 of us(and uncomfortably accomodate more).

My only further concern would be that I have been there several times when it snowed and we would be stuck if it did snow unless we took cars other than our G's. It would actually be kinda rought to get around up there even if its not snowing due to snow berms and stuff.

Re: Big Bear Trip/Cruise

If we are planning a Big Bear trip it should be in early January before it really starts to snow. And, if there is no snow, there are plenty of other things to do. Like shopping, lol. Anyways, let me know what you guys think.

Bummer. Big Bear is fun, but I'll just be returning from visiting the family in Texas for Christmas. Our trucks tend to be the 2wd SUV grocery getting kind, but they do okay on the plowed roads of Big Bear.

Yeah, it sux trying to fit 2 snow boards with bindings, they hardly fit through the hole between the trunk and inside cabin. I take my mom's Camaro.
