It's right off the 78 @ Nordahl exit....78 west (from 15 intersection) exit Nordahl (1st exit past I-15 intersection heading west), go left (south) and make first right on Mission. Make Immediate right past gas station. Email me if you're interested. I'm a mile away from there if you want to see the tint on my coupe. He had another coupe in there as well as he was finishing mine up...this was back in Nov...

I got my tint job at AcuTINT & Graphics in Montclair. You can check out their work at AcuTint.com. I guarentee you wont be disappointed!
They have several differents tints to choose from. That is if you haven't already had it done some where else.

Conejo Auto Detail. It's up in Thousand Oaks, but that's where Infiniti of Thousand Oaks sends there cars. They have a lifetime warranty and Guarantee not to turn color. They also have a different shading scale not the standard 5, 20, 35, 50. They quoted me $165 as a regular walk-in, all windows. The dealer charges $599, same place same tint, hmmmmm? Can anyone say dealer mark-up?

Whittier Tint Shop

I had enough of those jerks.

Early in the morning, not many people in the shop. I asked some questions about the film they use, the guy responded with smart *** answers. Result: F these guys I'll take my business somewhere else. They are not the only tint shop in town.

Re: Best Place for Tint in Socal

Anyone know if they are different owners at Whittier Tint than a few years ago? I had my car done there 3 1/2 years ago and they did a good job. However, if they are under new ownership, I may not want too have my G tinted there. Maybe its just a bad employee though because the guy I spoke to one the phone today was very rude.

Re: Best Place for Tint in Socal

I have a friend who owns a tinting shop in Hollywood. He's the only shop in the area given the rights to install Huper Optik film.........so that says something about the experience and type of work they do. Hann, the owner, has about 16 yrs of experience in window tinting and does jobs for 5 production companies in Hollywood. From my experience, as a tint specialist, he's done the best work I've ever seen. If they are not too packed up, I've seen him finish a car in about 45 minutes (by himself)................about 30 minutes per car with 2-3 guys working on one. Although, that's probably the fastest time I've ever seen in the industry (We take about 1hr to 1.5 hr), the work is flawless. The shop's name is "Song's TintMasters" and is located at: 2464 W. Washington Blvd, LA, CA 90018. Phone is 323-732-3760. Just tell Hann that Sam from Audiomobile in the Bay Area sent you and he'll take care of you.

Re: Best Place for Tint in Socal

I'll second Wil's endorsement of Hann at Songs Tint Masters. I had my G Coupe tinted there with the Huper Optic. The tint and the install are top notch. Car looks like it came from the factory with it. No problem with dots on rear window either.
The Huper Optic tint really cuts the heat. I had an almost clear film put on my doors and it cuts about 50% of the heat and it is legal to boot!

Re: Best Place for Tint in Socal

gsg brings up a good point. I wanted to know if any of you have had legal trouble with window tinting all the way around. I'm ready to get a tint job on my car, but I have concerns because I just got my first ticket ever (5 1/2 years of a clean record!) and I don't want to get pulled over for something as lame as "Illegal tinting of the driver's side window."

Re: Best Place for Tint in Socal

LOL
I will 3rd Wil's endorsement (is there such a thing?)
I had my car done there as well...
gsg...were you the one that installed the 80 on your windows?
I opted for the 40 all the way around. I wanted the 80 on my front windshield, but he didn't have enough film for it.

Hann's a great guy...you will not go wrong by going to him...

Re: Best Place for Tint in Socal

Yeh, he's actually been doing a lot of G35C & Sedans in the past yr. From the looks of it, many of the G35 customers prefer Huper Optik, although, it may cost about double with Madico film. I guess we G35 owners have sophisticated taste when it comes to our rides.

Again, for those of you looking for a window tinting shop, call Hann and tell him Sam from the Bay Area sent you...
