Fellow Hawaiians,

Does anyone know of the cheapest place on Oahu to get some Volks? I'm looking for the 19" GT7's w/o having to sell 1 of my kidneys or corneas to pay for them. Since I live on the BI, I would have Young Bros. ship them over here and get them installed here.

Go to Gruppe S. The cost of the rims there even with shipping is worth it I think. I brought in rims from a local dealer and got screwed a bit.

I got a price quote from a local dealer in Kona for the 19" GT7's plus tires for $2990. $2250 for the rims and the rest for the tires. This price does include the shipping from the mainland. Is this a good price?

 

2250 for the rims??? That actually is not a bad price,....depending on what the specs are though. Still, pretty fair price INCLUDING shipping at that. Might be good to help out the local economy too. Tires are going to be a bit though. Looking at about $1000.

 

$2990 is a pretty good price for 19's including tires. When I bought my last set of wheels it was around $300 for shipping alone.

 

the cheapest place is to go to japan and bring them back on the plane. it's so much cheaper there. no shipping.
