Anyone want to have an install day?

This Saturday, I should be doing some stuff to my car. If anyone wants to come hang out and/or do stuff to your car, swing on by. I should have most tools needed. But, I'll be using all four of my jackstands.

Also, we could grill some burgers/dogs/brats.

I live in Goodyear, off of Estrella Pkwy and MC85.

If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll get you my contact info and address.

Nice! It would be interesting to see how those compare to the akebono's I know your car is lighter and has bigger brakes but if we both drove at the same speed and jammed on the brakes at the same time I'd like to compare stopping distances just for kicks.

I got heavier rims, heavier brakes, I think my only advantage is that I weigh about as much as your average 17 yo girl haha. Oh well, the twin turbos should solve that

They'll last longer than that.

I hope, but with a treadwear rating of 200...I don't know. Good luck!

Treadwear rating isn't a very good indicator of how many miles you'll get out of a tire. They vary greatly between manufacturers. I have a friend who works for a tire company. During one of their meetings, they increased the treadwear rating of a tire without even physically changing anything WITH the tire. Hahaha.

I use to have some Advan Sports. Their treadwear rating was 180. IIRC, they had around 10k miles on them and had plenty of rubber left.

Let me know how it goes with the tires then, I'm trying to decide what my next set will be
