I have an 04 Sedan. I was rear-ended by someone last night. I would say the impact was between light and medium. I expected to get out and see my bumper wasted. The only damage was two very minor scratches (hard to see unless you get within 1-2 feet of the bumper). No dents, no nothing. I spent well over an hour examining it to see if there was any type of other damage and couldn't find a thing. The bumper is very, very absorbant. I'm very, very impressed.

 

Glad to her your bumper held up! The G is notorious for sustaining a lot of damage in "fender benders". That's not a bad thing, as they're designed to do so for safety purposes, but it's still a PITA if you back into a pillar.

How'd the paint hold up? Any cracking?
