ppl at bay area! help me! do you guys kno ne shop around here fixes rims? i cratched my 18" stock rim pretty bad last night... took chunks out of it... n the scratch is 1/2 foot long...

should i fix it? or get a new rim?

 

Go to Roberts Tire and Wheels, I think it's on Howard or Harrison Street. Right near the Police Station on Bryant (San Francisco). I got my wheels done there when I used to have 18" 5 Zigen Heidfelds. I had scratched the lip and also dented it once. They usually charge about 40-50 dollars. They do a great job. Best to bring it in the morning so they can have it finished that day. Hope that helps.

www.wheelsamerica.com . theres a location in stanton, CA where i got my volks repaired. they charge a fixed rate and i heard many good things about them before taking my own rims to get repaired.

 

krn, I recommend you just get a new wheel. The cost to repair it would run $100-$150 and that's the price of a new one on eBay.

Just keep searching and you will find one. Also check the forums, people advertise 1 rim.
