Customer sent in some great photos of his widebody S2000 on a set of 18x10 F14s all around in Matte Black Graphite!




I think these photos do a decent job of showing how Black Graphite looks installed.
They're dark but not quite black, they also have a nice matte sheen to them.

 

Answer a question for me, is it true that those beautiful Forgestar wheels are not forged? If not why are they allowed to use that name? Kinda like false advertising, isn't it?

You are correct, Forgestars are not cold forged like you would find on a 3piece forged wheel, to get those you want to look at their iForged brand.

Rotary forged is an acceptable name to describe the flow forming process, and Forgestar is playing off the "forged" in rotary forged.

The Forgetars are rotary forged/flow formed which is a different manufacturing process. It still results in a lighter and stronger wheel than standard cast wheels.

I'd say that a flow formed/rotary forged wheel fills a niche right between cast and cold forged wheels. They're 25-33% lighter than a cast wheel, while significantly lower in cost compared to fully forged.

They're a fantastic option for anything looking to improve performance and aesthetics without breaking the bank!

The CF5V in SDC are currently IN STOCK and available in 20x9.5/10/11/12 Super Deep Concave!

Offset ranges are the same as the F14 SDC which you can find here
