replacing 1 tire affecting LSD?

Our cars are equiped with an LSD. If I only replaced one tire with a different tread (brand new) in the back, will the LSD have to work to compensate the new tire and an older tire-- probably around 5k left of life on it. ??

I'm just curious. I do plan on getting the other rear tire very soon. Prob next weekend. But ok to drive on it? I'm still boosting etc and the car feels fine. Just curious if the LSD is actually overworking itself.

I know if you get a flat on a Scooby, you'd have to replace all 4 because of the central diff.. just curious if it's the same on ours? (replacing 2 instead of 4)

usually it wouldnt be recommended to do it. one will have different tread pattern and a different tread life was well. (having more life) when one has more than the other, the newer one tends to pull more to its side. cant be fixed by aligment or anything. best to change in pairs
