If I get TPS sensors from another G35 coupe owner (2006 same as my car) can they be hooked up to my car?? Is there is anyway they would stay hooked up to the old car and not be able to be hooked up to mine?

My problem is I have a loaded 06 coupe and sold my stock wheels with the sensors in them. I just bought another set of coupe wheels with sensors in them and i'm wondering if they will just work on their own or if they need to be programmed??? Is there anything linking them to the original car they were on??? I'm thinking TPS sensors could even be a good security measure for stolen wheels as well because if someone with a G35 or 350Z went to the dealer with my wheels on and tried to activate them, it would be awesome if they sensors showed the VIN # of the car they were originally installed on. I'm newb but any help is greatly appreciated

TPS can be reprogrammed just as long as the part numbers are the same although the part number may have been updated from year to year it will still be compatible. I purchased some TPS from a Z owner and had them reprogrammed without a hitch. Take about 10-15 mins but a Nissan/Infiniti dealership may change $100 or more to do it.
