I saw those reviews, too.
I decided topull the trigger on them. For $591, shipped ( 2 day), you can't beat it!
I like that they are quiet, and give a nice ride.
My previous Yoks AVS Sports were noisy as hell. I put my stock 18s back on because I hated the yoks so much!!!
BTW, my sizes are 245/35-19 and 275/30-19.
I'll post a review after I get them.

well, I finally got the exclaims mounted on my 19" axis supermesh. 245/35s and 275/30s.
Initial impressions:
very minor ride harshness increase, but I am comparing these to the stock 18" goodyears. compared to the Yoko AVS sports that I had on the 19s about 6 months ago.........The Generals kick ***!
Noise.....only slightly louder than the stock 18" goodyears. Light years ahead of the Yoks!!!! The yoks were really loud when you were coming to a stop. You had a very noticable "woooooooooo" sound. The generals are very quiet in comparison. The other area where the yoks were loud was in the rain. I'll have to wait on a rain test for the generals.
I haven't really tested out the handling yet.
So far, I am very happy........Did I mention that thye were only $591 shipped to my house.

Exclaim UHP
I have about 5K on a set of Exclaim UHPs on my 18" wheels.
Since we have winter around here and I had a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 previously, I ran my OEM tires and wheels (17") in the winter. Comparatively, the OEM's are so bad, I can hardly wait to get them off in the spring.
The Goodyears then are my basis of comparison because the OEM's aren't worthy of being a basis for anything. The Goodyears were useless in the snow, but stuck like glue on both dry and wet pavement. Unfortunately, they wore out in 20K, something which rules them out for reconsideration. I appreciate great tires, but not at an operating cost of $.05 per mile.
The Exclaim UHP's are nearly as good as the Goodyears in the traction department and produce noticeably less road noise. They cost only a little over half the price of the Goodyear's and are not showing any noticable wear yet. They were available in my size and, if I can believe the other reviews, they have a reasonable snow application.
Perhaps other exotics can nudge them out in performance (I don't know of any), but for the price, the choice was a no-brainer. This has been a no-regrets tire for me.

a little update on my exclaims.
I now have over 1000 miles on these tires, and I am so excited about them. I would recommend these in a heartbeat!!!
quiet, fantastic ride, no loss in handling, rounded shoulder (less rubbing issues), good traction!!!
I am not a crazxy driver, so I can't tell how the handling compares at the limits of adhesion.
I can tell you that it is much harder to do a POWER 180* now. I used to rev up the engine, drop the clutch and yank the wheel all the way over to perform a tight radius U-turn. (big tire smoker!!!)
With the exclaims, it is much harder to do. they really stick the ground very well.
