is this normal????

just put on 20" volk gt-7's 3 weeks ago...now i walked outside and noticed that my left rear wheel has a little bit of a smaller fender gap then my right rear has but i thought nothing of it until i was driving on the parkway and the roads had some dips in them and everytime i hit those dips that left rear tire kept scraping the fender but the right one was fine and never touched... so when i got home i measured both sides and the drivers side is about a quater to a half inch lower then the passenger side...also ive hit some dips in the 3 weeks ive had them on and never had a problem with them scraping...i am also on stock height...has anyone ever heard of this before one side of the car being a little lower then the other side??????

i've never heard of this happening. you need to take your car in to the shop. alignment shop would be good so they can look at your stock suspension. either that or you have 2 different size tires in the rear, lol nah, jp!! what brand and size tires are you running? for you to be rubbing the fender at stock height sounds like you're either running swamper tires/sizes, or you have a suspension problem.

Lmaooo....i Got 275/35 In The Rears...i Think I Have A Suspenion Problem...when I Scraped The Fender I Look At The Dash Board To See If Any Lights Were On And The Low Tire Pressure Light Was On, But I Check The Air Pressure In Both Tires And They Are Excatly The Same

I had this problem after I lowered my car, my driver side rear was about 3/8 lower then the right. I think this has been discussed on the boards before and was a common problem for lowered cars. I dont recall if anyone had this on stock springs but surely someone will chime in with more information then me.

I ended up lifting the car and reseating the lower spring and now the car sits pretty even. I can only think the spring was "rotated" and causing it to sag. It may be worth a look.

Something Wrong With The Suspenion Though Cause I Know As A Fact The Drivers Side Was Not As Low As It Is Now When I First Put On The Wheels, But Maybe Somethings Losse Or Also What You Said About It Getting Rotated...thanks For The Info Though..i Will Keep You Posted
