Re: Stillen Sways???
All things being said, all the aftermarket bars will offer greater roll control than stock. I did my research with the motive that if I was going to spend a dime, I would get the stiffest possible bar set as I feel that the car's stock roll rate need's allot of correction.
I crossed off the stillen's off my list to 2 reason's. One, they can't structurely match Cusco's stiffness with the same diameters given that the Stillen's are hollow front and rear vs the Cusco's being solid. Plus I do not believe Stillen's description of bar stiffness being 7% to 70% carries that high in the front. The stiffest setting on the Cusco's net's a 37% increase. That is done by using the bar mounting hole that is closer to the bar itself. The problem is, it was rather difficult to get the end link bolt to bolt in being that the bar bolt hole is further away that way. I find it really hard to believe that stillen could offer end link holes that are further in and still allow the end link to bolt on. I had a real fight to get mine on as it was. I have some bar pre-load this way, but I'd rather not have that kind of fight again.
I wanted the bar set that offered me the greatest possible whole car bar stiffness. That made the Cusco's as my first choice. I actually would have prefered the EVO350 bars to get almost the same whole car bar stiffness and a adjustable rear bar. I did the Cusco's as a hedged bet, that I'd be ok with it's fixed bar stiffness, for no other reason than trying to spend $150 less over the EVO350 bar set. After continueing ongoing testing, my choice is right on target to what I wanted out of the bars. Only thing I worry about now, is the spring rates I end up with in choosing a coilover system as I don't want to upset what is a perfect balance as of now.
I got my Cusco's from www.Grupee-s.com for $395 shipped.

Re: Stillen Sways???
Here is my opinion on swaybars. I only had an aftermarket sway's on my RX-7. I came to the conclusion stiffer is not better. I remember I had it on the stiff setting and my rear end would always slide out like a mother. I found the softest setting (on the rears) was the best. The car did sway a bit, but it would hug the road. I had a significant lap times on this setting.
I plan to get sway's for my G someday. First on my list is camber adjustments on my rear.

Re: Stillen Sways???
Thanks for the info. What you have is probably what I'm looking for. I upgraded my 330i with UUC Sway Barbarians and the difference was unimaginable! I could throw that car back and forth through some of the nastiest turns (also had Bridgestone S03's) at speed without the backend coming loose or feeling like I had trouble with getting the steering back.

Well I was quoted a rather high amout of $150 from the shop that Mike a Grupee-S use's. If it would have been $80, I would let them do it. So I used a how to that was posted on MY350z.com and did the install myself. It wasn't difficult to do, just kinda annoying in the front. Here is that link.

Follow the tool recommendation to the letter, especially the deep socket. I did not need the alen key I think is on the list however. It's not difficult to do yourself. Just follow the how to and use common sense.
