pirelli asymmetrical

has anyone tried these tires? PIRELLI Asymmetrical...seems like they're summer tires but i live in cali so it shouldn't be a real problem. i can get 2 of them (245/35/20) for $275+$46 for shipping making it $321 for 2. gonna put them on the front.
i've heard they are noisy and treadwear is at 140AA

i just put on some dunlop sport maxx 285/30/20 in back. i love them and they look good and aren't noisy at all. thinking about getting them for the front too, but i don't wanna spend $580 for 2 tires if avoidable. the rim guards look like they'll actually save my rims, unlike the kumho ventus i had before and the michilen sports...both had useless rim guards.

My father has these in 19" on his 745i and they have been great tires. They have a great tread wear and are VERY quiet while driving. Very little tramlining as well. He's got ~17K miles on them and they show very little wear.
