Re: Wheel Spacers

I'll try and take some more pictures to post. It IS tough to notice the difference in pictures unless you see before and afters, but I don't have the befores. Big difference in person though. Looks great from the rear...

There IS a problem with fronts though, but it can be overcome. There's a lugnut size bolt or something between the factory studs and they fall near the new studs. You gotta drill at an angle to make the spacer fit. Here's a pic of that too...

Yeah, supposedly the reason for that is so that nobody accidentally mounts the rear rims on the front.

Re: Wheel Spacers

Another question-

Do you get any rubbing while cornering? If you look at pics of the G35 coupe with the 18's cornering hard, the tire goes up inside of the wheel well, just missing the inside of the fender lip. Have yours gotten scuffed up from cornering? Or did you just put the spacers on?

Re: Wheel Spacers

I've cornered hard on offramps and onramps with no problems. Hit speedbumps fairly fast and heard and felt nothing. If I run into problems I'll post it, but I don't foresee any...

Re: Wheel Spacers

Actually, it serves a function. Maybe to bleed brakes? Not sure but it's a cylinder shape with a nut on the end of it. Anyone know what it's for?

Re: Wheel Spacers

I'm telling ya-- it prevents the rear rims from being mounted on the front hubs..... that's all it does.

Re: Wheel Spacers

yep Hitman is right. Most people break it off to mount aftermarket rims. Anyway can you post some pics of the car as a whole, 3/4 views, and direct front back views please. I really dont like how my rear wheel looks stuffed inside the wheel well like that. Also if you dont mind me asking where and how much did you get them for. Thanks.

Re: Wheel Spacers

*Here's the email I got from the guy that makes 'em with instructions on how to buy:
The correct set up for your Infinity G35 is a 25 mm thick hub centric spacer, and it comes as an installation kit with low profile lugs (these are necessary due to the thickness of the adapter) to bolt the adapters to your hub.

The price for the kit is $224.75, including all shipping and handling charges to your door.

GO BACK TO EBAY SITE # 2432113596 AND MAKE YOUR PURCHASES.
GO TO PAY PAL AND PAY THE CORRECT AMOUNT FOR EACH SET UP.

Thank you for your business.
