I love that rim, i was debating that vs the TE-37. I went with the TE because during that time, it was only available with 18 inch. Good choice, do u happen to know how light the RIM are?

Those are probably the best rims I've seen on the G. All the other aftermarket ones are too bling-bling. Good job!

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Hey,

How do you like the Pole Position S03's compared to the stock Michelin Pilot Sports? In terms of grip, wear, time to warm temp, etc? Please advise because I will need tires soon and am seriously considering Pole Positions! Thanks

I've only had them for 5 days , but in that short a time I'm impressed so far. In terms of grip I haven't really pushed it yet but they are more responsive than the Michelin Pilot Sports . This is due to the stiff sidewalls on the S03's. The Guys that mounted my tires said that was thier least favorite tire to Mount. It took 2 Guys 20 Minutes to Mount each Front Tire because of the extra stiff sidewall. I was told by the Tire guy that the Bridgestone Potenza S03 245/35 Fronts have a stiffer sidewall than the rears for a crisper turn-in. The ride is pretty good considering the stiffer tires. Not harsh but less cushy...hope this helps ya make a decision

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Rugs,

Congrats on the trophy win! Your ride looks SWEEEEET! WOW! And I was thinking only Volk Racing has the nicest wheels for the Coupe. We have another contender here. By the way, are these the same wheels used on the JDM Nismo Skyline Coupe? Those are sure lightweight for 19's. Nice drop with the Eibachs. Any tire rubbing when cornering hard? And with passengers aboard and cornering hard?

Good choice on the S03's. All I hear are good things about these tires. Hope they last longer than the Pilot Sports too.

I was thinking about getting some 17's for snow on my 6MT. But after seeing your ride, I am contemplating about 19's for summer and use my stock 18" wheels for snows. Either that or have 3 sets of wheels: 17's snows, stock 18's summers, and 19's summers. 1 car, 12 wheels and tires. DOH! Confused now....

Enough of my rambling for now. Enjoy your wicked ride!

GTR_Boy,
Thanks & yes these are the same wheels except the Nismo Skyline Coupe Had 18"s. The JDM Nismo 19"s were just released. No tire rubbing so far & I have speed Humps in my nieghborhood.
Good luck w/ your tire & wheel decision.

Who did you get to put your springs on and how much did they charge. NTB told me $400. I meant to ask Saturday, but I forgot. Congrats on the show, you represented the G's well.

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

So will the 18" rims fit our tires? I could maybe pony up the cash for new rims, but not for new rima + tires.

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

That sounds about right for the spring install. Infiniti of Gwinnett (in Duluth, GA) put my Eibach Springs on they charged about that much. You can probably find a small Import tuner shop somewhere to do it cheaper, just get a good reference before you use them..
Thanks for the compliments.
