Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Those are one hella set of wheels. Can't resist the temptation to look at them. Does anyone have the same set of wheels on thier sedans yet, I know I am repeating someone else's question?

Yeah Rug (or should we call you Giant RugRat), those are the best set of wheels I've seen on any G. Congrats on the trophy. BTW: I had S03's on my 330 and loved them. The S03's are the best tire made for rain.

With all these photos of the Nismo Wheels I may just go ahead and put a set on my 240Z

Too bad they dont make them in 12 inch wide though =(

GodZilla,
Hey, those would look good on your 240Z. The're not made in 12" widths, but I just talked to Max at GRUPPE-S.com and he said the NISMOS are now available in a 19" x 10.5" in a +16,+30, or +38 offset. I wish they were available when I got mine, oh well. I Might have to have a Pair of the 10.5"s so I can mount some 295/35/19 out back for that really beefy look...

cliverman,
Thanks man. I'm really happy w/ the NISMOS & S03's so far.
I'll have plenty of time to try them in Wet conditions living in the Atlanta area.
Honest I'm only 6'1" tall. I know, that Pic makes me look like the Jolly Green Giant, or hey I could be 007's Jaws 2...

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

I have noticed several LM-GT4 rims with the red O letter missing. Those Nismo letter come off that easily???
I'll be gettin mine soon with 19x8.5 front 25offset and 19x9.5 30 offset. But should I get 25 offset for the rear?
I'm afraid of rubbing problem. U dont have any rubbing for the front?!

I've seen that condition too. Don't know how prevelant. I also have a set coming to me. but I opted for the 18" set. Same width and offset. I'm putting Dunlop SP9000s on them. A 25mm offset in the back would indeed put them out further, and would probably work. Nismo however, recommends 30 due to the added width of the wheel. From the pictures I've seen it should fill up the wheel well, at least I hope so. 30 is stock in the front, and the wheel is only .5" wider than stock, so the push out there should look good.
BTW, My stock 18s with Michelin Pilot Sports are for sale if anyone is interested.

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Rspec,

I've noticed that to, I looked at mine closely & the NISMO letters are cast into the spoke about 1/16" deeper than the spoke itself, if that makes since. The letters look painted on w/ a good bit of clear coat over the letters & the spokes. I don't see how they could come off.
Both of my Nismo 19"x8.5" & 19"x9.5" Rims are +25 offset.
However the rears do come out a tad more than the fronts
do so a +30 offset in the rear might look more balanced. No scraping on either end w/ the +25 offsets.
Congrats on your purchase, I don't think you'll regret it...
By the way, who you gettin your wheels from?

Rumble,
Yea, IMO I think the C-Pillar (the area just past the rear side window) looks too squared off with the otherwise smooth lines on the G35 Coupe. It looks good on the G35 Sedan though.
I just continued the lines of the top & bottom side window siles to more or less form a triangle to give the G35c from a profile a more streamlined appearance.
I used Carbon Fiber & trimmed it with black vinyl tape. There's a better Pic in the"RIDES SECTION"
