to stop that sticker from coming off you have to get clear water sealent...

goto homedepo and ask for clear water sealent....make sure it will bond w/ metal...

i had that problem on car models...=P

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Haven't had any trouble w/ the "O" my NISMO Wheel stickers coming off. Thats kinda' weird just the "O" in NISMO is coming off. I've got a good coat of wax on them but may go ahead & try that clear water sealant.
Is that like a Clear Urethane, got a Name Brand?
A Pic with the Flush Center Caps...
Thanks

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Are those Wheels Tire Pressure Sensor compatible?

Whats the difference with the 19x9.5 and the 19x10.5? Bigger lip?

RugRat: Did you change your suspension for those wheels as well? Or could I just use the stock setup?

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

Here's a closeup of the Blacked out exhaust facia. I did this almost a year ago. My Contour SVT was done the same way, I just liked the looks of it. It's not painted, I used a High Performance Vinyl in a semi-gloss Black (the kind sign shops use) I put it on using a hair dryer to help stretch it around the Exhaust openings...

Re: NEW!!! Just In, JDM NISMO/RAYS Forged 19" Whee

i2ichal2d,
You can buy Vinyl by the linear foot at most Sign Shops. The higher Priced Vinyls are called "High Performance Vinyl" & are a higher quality & do better in a Harsher environment. I wouldn't recommend you doing a progect like this, unless you've worked w/ addhesive vinyls before. I've been fooling w/ this stuff for years & doing the G35 rear exhaust facia area, just about got the best of me.
Basically on large areas like this you want to spray a Soapy water Solution(this keeps the vinyl from permanently sticking while you place it into position) on the Surface of the G & on the back of the Vinyl. Have someone help you hold it up off the ground at this point while you work with it. Once you have the Vinyl on the car, you can use a Small Sqeegee to force the Soapy water out from behind the vinyl. Your going to have some serious wrinkles & Bubbles, that's where the Hair dryer comes in. You heat up the Vinyl to make it stretch around the curves & openings. It may sound easy, but it's Not...
Good-Luck,
RugRatCoupe
