Wheels & Tires Grabbing the road and stopping.

I've been quoted: 2819 for Racing Hart J8 19" Bronze (w/tires), anyone beat that?

I wont mention the vendor, but if you know where I can get it cheaper than 2819 shipped, please PM me. I checked wheelsdirectonline.com but they ran out of their special that lists it for 2699.
I would prefer gunmetal, but bronze is also ok.

Is that with tires? I bought mine with tires for $3,300 installed. Graphite/Gunmetal 19"x8.5" with Nitto 555 from America's Tire.

yes, it comes with tires made by fusion, 245/35/19(2) and 275/35/19. What installation costs are involved?

I think yours will come mounted & balanced already. Mine included wheels, tires, new black Gorilla lugs (not RH's), road hazzard certs, balancing & mounting. You should be able to just bolt them right on if they are already mounted & balanced.

I paid about the same but I got Bridgestone S-03's. I purchased the wheels and tires seperately.

hub rings? how much are those and what is the purpose for that? is this just for the racing harts or any rims you buy? I thought once it was balanced and mounted that its just a simple plug n play on the car?

ON a side note (I just posted this in another thread), I found an ebay seller that can get me bronze te37s for 1900 shipped but has to order them. does this seem fishy? How will these look with a 35 profile tire on stock suspension? Right now i have 3 finger gap all around with oem 19s, will wheel gap go higher?

I believe the hub centric rings came with the J8s, Yeah, ebay deal sounds too good to be true. As far as gap is concerned, you're should stay eith close to the same tire diameter. This means that the gap should not narrow. Lower it to get rid of the gap. The G handles a drop very nicely.

why are the bronze cheaper than the others? usually most vendors are quoting me 2600 just for the rims, this is for gunmetal though. is the demand for gold and bronze less which is why they have to discount them?

I took the Wheelsdirectonline quote to discount tire, and got the rims with Nitto Neogen for ~$2700

This has nothing to do with the pricing but the gold & bronze are less common. RH (Dazz) says they have a "limited" run of these for coupes packages only. Gunmetal/Graphite & silver are the normal model colors.

Fuzion? Fuzion ZRi's don't have 275/35, only 275/30.

yeah, the price sounds about right.
