TPS light on after freeway use
TPS light on after freeway use
Okay, so after about 45 or so minutes of driving my TPS light goes on, saying IM low on air, which is not true, the tires stay at the same pressure...and have been. I've been just ignoring it, it'll go away right after i turn the car back on. Its wierd but its been happening when I go from san francisco to san jose, which is a 10 degree -20 degree climate change. Im wondering if the combination of driving longer, plus a temp change will cause the pressure to go too far below?
I thought tire pressure would be higher if it got hotter ? (thats the case, sf is colder, san jose is hotter)
Oh yeah, it doesn't ALWAYS happen, but more times than not when it happens, longer than 45 min trip on the freeway.

I drove from Vancouver to Seattle this past weekend.....and my TPS light was on when I was driving thru this very bumpy highway....but I just ignored it because all my tires looked fine..and as I returned to Canada, I restarted the car and I didn't see the sign ever since.....
and now I just need to clean my car......DAMN bugs
