Quote: cool, congrats on your pickup... i'm looking at the VS XX also. i talked to someone today that got the wheels only for < $2k... but that might have been a while back. i need to investigate
giri - I found my old receipts on my VS-XX wheels that i bought from Gruppe-S. They were actually $619 for the 19x8 and $635 for the 19x9. Offsets were +38(F) and +45(R).
The Termists wheel could be had for low $500's if you like that one.
I bought my VS-XX wheels about 2 yrs ago though so prices may have gone up.

Quote: looks like ill be the first here to run vs-xx's with 23 or 24 offsets!
hey hero...
good choice in wheels cuz i'm gonna get the same ones too from chris...
but i got brembos so fronts are +28 and rears are +24.

btw, i don't think we're the first with the +24 rear offset... chris told me a month ago (when i ordered them) that i was like the 3rd customer with the custom offset...

i wish i had the clearance for +23 up front cuz they're gonna look sick...

hey guys need your help quick cause im thinking about upgrading the tires!

right now i am getting 245 fronts and 275 rears.

i am definitely upgrading to 255 in the front but do you guys think i should upgrade to 285 in the rears?

things you should know: i dont take my car to the track and dont plan on it but i like to drive aggressively on the streets.

also, can anyone tell me how the 275 and 285 tires will make a difference in my driving? THANKS! i need to know asap so i can let chris at f1 know!! help!!

with 285/35 and that low +24 offset, you will definitely need to either roll or cut fenders...
edit: if you don't mind rolling or cutting, go for it.

I have 255 fronts and 275 rears. 285 would require cutting/rolling of the fender. I am very happy with this set up. 285's would look meatier for sure but it might be too aggressive.

it's up to you, i have the 275s and they're great. remember, the more mass you have, the more surface area to the road which causes a slight feel in power loss. compared to stock, the new rims and tires will make it feel like it's not as fast off the line. plus they probably weigh more. but whatever, i flippin love em!
