Confused on what size wheels...

Confused on what size wheels...
what up guys, i called two rims places today and got two different answers. one shop told me that the Giovanna Genoa would fit and another shop told me that they would not fit. the one shop told me that Giovanna said that it would fit because of the Brembos. what off-set should i go with front and rear. i'm looking for a lip and most likely chrome, because i going to get the ivory/willow. i want the wheels to come to the fender well in the front and back. i don't want the wheels to be too far under the wheels. if i get 19x8.5 or 19x9 with the right tire size in the back and front will it still look good without going with 19x10. thanks for the help guys.

Re: Confused on what size wheels...
Damen...you must have seen the Genoa's off the Giovanna Test car in Fresh Alloy.com. My friend here in Kansas City is friends with the owner. That was Giovanna's owners test car on the website. He purchase those wheels from him and they look fabulous on his car. Those wheels are 20" btw. The Genoa's that he has are a 3 piece design which makes customizing an offset to fit you car equiped with Brembo's. They are rather expensive, even more my taste. My friend owns a custom aftermarket import shop in KC area. If you are interested in that type I can talk to him about it.

Re: Confused on what size wheels...
i didn't know that they came 3 piece. i would like to talk to him to find out all of his measurements. i'll go over to that website and look for that pic. thanks
well i just got off of the phone with tirerack and they claim that going with rims that are not on there web site, could cause long term damage to the barrings and other parts of the car. basically he was saying that you would want to keep the car in the same dia. and be able to handle the weight load as do the stock set-up. i guess i have to wait until some wheel companies come out with something that will fit correctly. well i guess i won't be getting any wheels for a while.

Re: Confused on what size wheels...
well after talking to two other shops i must recant my last statement. i think i can find a rim that won't cause long term damage and looks nice. one shop suggested going with 19x9 and 19x11. he said it would have no problem fitting and looking nice. now if i can just see some pics. i don't want to order these rims if i can see how they will look.

Re: Confused on what size wheels...
These are the Genoa wheels from Giovanna. My friend now owns this set that came off this car, since he is friends with the owner. They are 20" wheels and fitment is great. I hope this helps with your search.

Re: Confused on what size wheels...
I've been saying that 20's fit the huge wheels wells on these cars for 6 month's now, but everyone keeps telling me that 20's are "pimp", "ghetto", or that the tires are "too small". Guy's would rather get 19's, complain about the gap in the fender wells, then get "performance springs", then complain about the rough ride. Amazing...

Re: Confused on what size wheels...
Those are 20" GFG Versailles 6. 20x8.5 up front and 20x10 in the rear. The car is standard height, it has not been lowered. Puting 20's on the car will fill up you fender gap more . They are freakin sweet.
