Calling all Coupe Drivers with UPGRADED Brake Pads
Alright guys, it's time for me to get new brake pads for my black G35Coupe 6MT with Brembos. I want something with equal braking power give or take some, and LESS BRAKE DUST!!! Any options I have? IT needs to be both front and back, I'm not going to do half of the car. Your opinoins are very valued.

Re: Calling all Coupe Drivers with UPGRADED Brake Pads
Hey, buddy; been a while.
I've been able to get 5 driving days (I don't take it out in the rain) on my recently installed Hawk HPS pads (front and rear). There is very little dust present, and compared to the factory brakes after 5 days...well, I never made it 5 days without washing the car because the wheels looked like they were gunmetal in color with the factory pads!! Tremendous difference!!
As for stopping power, they are just fine, but do not have the grabby feel of the factory brakes. Some people do not like the grabbiness, but I did, so I miss it.
I bedded the brakes per the instructions, but they squealed very loud for the first couple of days, in heavy traffic, slowing from 5-10 mph. Over the last three days of driving, they have quieted. Considering the factory brakes on my car had the same squeal (albeit less) I am not too aggrevated.
Both sets were a PITA to get on; I had to literally force them onto the front caliper and in the rear I had to partially remove my aftermarket traction rods; though I doubt the latter is required with the factory rods.
As a whole, despite some issues, I'd have to say I'm pleased.
ZEX wet kit 140 WHP
ZEX remote opener, bottle heater
Denso iridium 2 steps
Z tube, Amsoil filter
JIC-Magic traction rods

Re: Calling all Coupe Drivers with UPGRADED Brake Pads
Go with the EBC greenstuff. They have pads for both front and rear brembos and have no squeal, no dust, and bite just as hard as stock. Call tirerack they'll assist you. I just got mine on.

Check out tirerack.com.
Let me know which you get and how they perform for you. I had the EBCs on my WRX and they were horrible!! Maybe I got a bad set?

Re: Calling all Coupe Drivers with UPGRADED Brake Pads
I have Hawk HPS pads. No dust, but they squeel. Great bite.
I have a set of the Satisfied Ceramic pads, but plan to install them this weekend. Heard nothing but good stuff about them. You can get either of these from Tire rack.
I treid the ebc greenstuff on my Mercedes CLK. They were still dusty and the squeeled. Wasn't impressed w/ those.
