16 inch tires for Winter according to TireRack
Hey guys, I've search this but to no avail.
Tirerack.com says we can put the following tires on a 2003 G35 Sedan :
16" Recommended: 205/65-16
17" Recommended: 215/55-17
My question is : 17 is obviously stock size, but I've never heard of 16" tires to fit on our cars? Can someone shed some light? Is that enought to clear the brakes, assuming non Brembos of course for the Sedan?
Alex

In 2003 there was a "stripper" model of G35 sedan, a non-leather price leader that had 16" wheels as standard equipment.
When using a lot of online tire and wheel finders, when you choose G35 sedan without sport suspension it will come back as a 16" wheel. Just choose with sport suspension even if you don't have that option to get 17" wheel choices. Somewhere someone bollixed it up and thought only sport suspended 2003 G sedans had 17" tires when these are the standard tire for the G35 sedan leather.
