Re: Brembo Brakes
Uheenada & SunnyD, According to two infiniti dealerships and Infiniti USA the material that composes the brake pad has a tendancy to squeel. This according to them is because the material is designed for higher tempuratures and as a result when they are cold or begin to cool rapidly the material contracts causing the squeeking. I was also told by someone on this site that brake dust that builds up quickly on the pads can aggrivate this so when the car is wash make sure you get rid of that brake dust. Also my now has around 16K on it and the brakes are no longer squeeking. It stopped around 10K for me. Peace.

Re: Brembo Brakes
Yeah, the squeaking is just natural from performance brakes. I have a 6MT with the Brembo brakes and I NEVER experience the squeaking. This is because I wash my car once a week and every time I wash, I use Turtle Wax Wheel Cleaner. This product is not acidic and when I spray the rims with it, the Wheel Cleaner gets onto my rotors as well and I end up cleaning my rotors along with my rims. Just spray a wheel cleaner on your wheels (and let some of it naturally get onto the rotors) and then rinse it off. This will stop your brakes from squeaking....they squeak because of dirt/dust building up on the rotors. Cleaning this crap off the rotors gets rid of the squeaking when the brake pads make contact with the rotors.
