350Z springs and structs
Re: 350Z springs and structs
I guess I will have to find out how harsh is the Z suspension later. I can't do it at the moment but I will probably do it next week when I take my car in for warranty brake work.
Re: 350Z springs and structs
Gsedan, I talked to Jeff at Performance about the 350 suspension that I bought from him and found out that it was off of his 04' 350Z. So I have the updated suspension. The one thing that I noticed with it is that it seems that the front sits higher than it does when you just change the springs on a stock suspension. Ever noticed that?
Re: 350Z springs and structs
Yep, that's normal. The front is lowered 7/8" and the rear is lowered by 1 1/8" when you use the 350Z suspension on the sedan.

Re: 350Z springs and structs
Hey Gsedan35, my friend is buying an M3 but hes going to take out the stock suspension for something better. He asks me if I wanted it FOR FREE, I am just wondering if you think teh sedan would fit the M3 suspension?
Re: 350Z springs and structs
I really really doubt it would work and for many different reasons. First thing that comes to mind is strut body lengths, and min and max travel ranges, not to mention how they mount. Plus I heard that the M3 uses a really high rear spring stiffness bias, more than I'd run on a G or Z for sure.
