problem with my brakes

i have a at5 so i dont know if this applies to the 6mt brembo. i took my car to have them look at my brakes cause it makes a loud noise when i reverse and press the brake. they took by wheels off and inspected all the brake pads and rotors and found nothing wrong... so i went and told the service person to come out and showed her the noise. she told me yea the mechanics found nothing wrong, but it happens to some of the coupes and sedans. she told me to call customer care because if enough people complain then infiniti will do something about it.
just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Re: problem with my brakes

Yes I have noticed the same thing on my 5AT. When I had my 3750 mi. service done, they replaced my rear pads (with an updated pad) because I complained about the brakes squeeking as I come to a stop.
Now I am at 6500 miles and the brakes squeek when I back up - just as you state!
I will report it at the 7500 mi. service, but I'm assuming they will find nothing, as you experienced.
The brakes are shaping up to be a problem area for the G. There was some discussion a couple of weeks ago about Infiniti now covering the brakes and rotors for 3yr./36K miles. Does anyone know if this is true?
