I just put a set of pirelli P-Zero 255/45 R18 on my 18x8 rims. Everything worked out just fine.

Hope this helps

RT-615 255/40-18 18x8 rims

I know that 8.5" wide would be better, but I just don't see suffecient overhang to justify the cost to change the rims. I can get 18x9 MB weapon's at Discount tire for $167 each, but I really don't care for how much they weigh and they're a darker gun metal I don't really care for.
