Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get winters for my 03 g coupe, and since it's already mid December, stock is low/gone. I am trying to get Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2s, 225/50/17 fronts and 225/55/17 rears (stock is 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear).

Sadly, I can't get 225/50/17 fronts anymore - all sold out. So I was wondering if it would make a difference if I went for 215/55/17 fronts and 225/55/17 rears? It's a little farther from matching, but I want to stick with a V rated winter tire.

And if it's fine, would the 215 still fit on a 17x7.5 wheel?
