What is the best suspension for me?

Hi,

I would like to change my suspension for better handling, but I can't afford lowering my car more than half inch because I will hit the shoulder when I enter my garage. (I will hit the shoulder if I back up straightly right not)
I wonder which suspension is suitable for me? If chaning the suspension is not the case, what should I do? (sway bar?)

Ryan

Coupe, sedan with sport or sedan with non-sport?

Tell me how you feel your ride and handling quality are right now. Rate each on a scale of 1 to 10. And then do a rating where you are willing for those ratings to go to for the handling improvements you want.

As a example I'd rate my ride quality as 6 and the handling as 9. I rate the ride a 6 because of bounce, eliminating that I'd raise ride quality to a 7. I'd be willing to take the ride quality down a bit with some extra suspension stiffness to say a 5 to get the handling to a 10. But some people don't want to make any kind of ride compromise and it's important to speak up on the matter either way.

I have the 5AT Coupe. I am satisfy with the ride quality right now, but I will like to have better performance on making turns. I would like the have extra stiffness. I am thinking about the Tein coilover too, but I wonder how high is the max height? because I can't lower my car more than 1/2 inch.....

Re: What is the best suspension for me?
I am looking for similar advice. I have a Sedan 6MT (sport susp.) and would like to lower only 0.5 inches. Looking for better cornering stability, mainly less body lean. Don't mind a little more spring stiffness, but not much. On a scale of 0-10, and if my stock sport susp. is a 5, willing to go to a 6-7 (assumes 10 is really stiff). Plan on keeping stock 17" rims.

Was wondering if I can get away with just stiffer sway bars for less body lean in the corners. Brands?
