is this post for real? I mean im not one to bash people on our forum, but this must be the dumbest thing ive ever heard of. talk about a job done Half-assed. i mean besides NYCKID (you dont know him do you?) this is rediculous. first of all why would you paint your calipers? ( unless you dont have the Brembeos then i guess its ok to) and second of all how the hell could you have done a good job. dont you think you will ever have to take your rims off? i just dont get it. and 42 dollars for the paint? i did my Stangs for a can of high temp engine paint for about 9 dollars. this is almost as silly as a dude i saw driving down the street one day with his civic having donbe his rims proffesionally done. he took a can of red spray paint and painted his rims red but he never taped off the tire let alone take the tire of the rim to spray the rims. the result was, well you can get the picture. half the tire had overspray from the RIM JOB. oh my! again i appolagize but thats what i call a HALF ASSED JOB

Re: Painted my calipers without removin the wheel PICS

No apology is needed, everyone has a right to say what's on his or hers mind. If you didn't look at my pictures you would see that I don't have brembos. Like I said I was originally going to take off the wheels to paint my calipers but I wasn't able to screw off my aftermarket caps to access my lugs. I didn't want this to stop me again from painting my calipers and since my rims visibly showed my calipers I decided to go ahead and paint my calipers. As for the $42 for the painting kit, if you think I’m lying then check for yourself…http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2442734121, that’s how much caliper paint brush kit go for on eBay, I could of bought the spraying can for $10 but I did not want to remove my calipers from the rotor.

I know I didn't paint my calipers the "orthodox way" but I'm proud that I didn't let one small bump stop me from getting to my destination. But like you said, for a "HALF ASSED JOB” I’m pretty happy with the results and pretty much everyone thinks the calipers look nice in the pictures. Take care
