I'm planning on the 5AT in a couple of months. I plan on upgrading the brakes (just for fun) and would like the Brembos.
1) Will they fit?
2) Will the dealer sell them and install them for me?
Thanks for everyone's help.

1) Yes.
2) Probably.
Note: You won't get the OEM Brembos. You'll have to get the aftermarket Brembos. They're close to $6,000 just in parts.

Are the aftermarket ones you had in mind better than OEMs ?

I don't know what the difference is. It's just that you can't buy the Brembo brakes from Infiniti as a separate item, and the kit Brembo sells aftermarket is kinda pricey.

Certainly I'm no marketing guru...but it seems to me there are lots of folks who would like the Brembos...and would be happy to pay for them...if they were an option. Instead, I'm forced to buy Stop-Tech's, Rotora's, etc.
There are many of us who aren't interested in a manual transmission. Make the performance parts an upgrade for us,
I roll the cost into the financing...Infiniti makes money...
I'm just venting. I don't know the first thing about running a business but...

why no spend less money and get the same braking power? Get something else like Wilwood since they will definetly fit. I can't say about the others! Plus, WIlwood is 6 piston compare to the brembos 4 piston!

Project Mu brakes = MAJOR brake squeel (is that how you spell it? sorry just woke up). But yea they will stop you on a dime, thats for sure.

Friend has the 6 pot Project mU kit on his 350Z, and they don't squeal at all. Best looking brake kit IMHO. Sitting behind his 19" Volk SF-Challenge, there is NO open space. The brakes fill everything up so well.

Glad to hear they don't squeal... I've always like Project Mu products. But unfortunately, I have no money to invest into brakes at the moment...

The stock brakes for the 5AT works just fine why even bother changing it. Look for suspension upgrades if I where you. Just paint the stock calipers and put an infinity logo on it it will look clean. That's just my 2 cents...

As it turns out that is exactly what I plan on doing now. I just got off the phone with the dealership. They said you can do it but it would be VERY expensive. When a dealer says something is expensive, I know there is no point in me asking how much!
Oh well...

Here's one more reason to keep the stock brakes: Free Replacement for 3yrs/36k miles.
