Re: Brake Service covered!

i'm not sure but i think it will cost over 100 at least per pad(not by pair)... even AEM pads cost little over 100(it's pair so make around 50$ per pad) and i'm positive brembo will cost a lot more than AEM...

Re: Brake Service covered!

Got my letter yesterday......3/36 warranty from time of purchase, '03/'04 Sedans and auto coupes. Also the card to return, with proof of prior repairs...for your refund. I was surprised....just got my G 3 weeks ago.

Re: Brake Service covered!

That's a good question. Is anybody with Brembo's actually experiencing this fast wear-out problem?

Re: Brake Service covered!

did you get the letter with your monthly statement or did it come seperately.

Re: Brake Service covered!

It wouldn't come with your monthly statement. Many of us aren't even paying Infiniti.. I, for example, go through Chase Manhattan Bank. Even if your loan/lease is through Infiniti's financial division, that would be a separate division. Plus, they'd have to account for who's still paying and who's already paid, and send out separate letters.

No, they just mass mail their list of owners directly. It's a lot of letters, though, so everybody doesn't receive them all at once. There's probably some minimum wage temp stuffing envelopes to send these out.

Re: Brake Service covered!

i guess it's time to use my g more often... i have 2400 miles and i bought it on 7/27... kinda low mileage.. i didn't drive much cuz people complained brakes wear too quickly and 18s are short on life and it cost $$$$$ to replace... oh well since they cover it, i should drive more...

Re: Brake Service covered!

re: not covering Brembos, they might figure that guys with the Brembos and MT are spending time at the track, which eats brakes in a couple sessions on a car this heavy with big wheels. What's funny is that I bought another car in part for track use because I didn't want to have to keep replacing my AT's brakes. Looks like I can now get away with a few hard runs, so long as I stagger them over the next 3 years.

Re: Brake Service covered!

According to my service advisor, they haven't received complaints about the Brembos yet, so there's no reason to cover them. Has anybody here actually had a wear problem with Brembos?

I am not looking forward to the day I have to replace those Brembo pads. Hopefully it will be a looooooong time away (knock on wood)!
