Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
Its all stock. So its will be a reference point when going plus sizing.
If I remember correctly it should be:
215/55/17 - 17"x7" 45mm offset
~ GT-R the Ultimate Driving Machine ~
- 2004 G35 Ivory Pearl/Black Leather
- Auto/Nav/Premium/Sports/Aero
- 6 wire grounding kit

Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
Thanks, I was assuming so, but then the tire markings threw me. It's pretty easy to see why the front suspension clearance is such an issue. There ain't alot of room there. Btw, your oem specs are correct.
After reading a ton of posts, plugging in known dia, width, offsets of working setups into the calculators, and a good amount of extrapolation, I came up with a best guestimate of 30mm (1.21") front suspension clearance. Looking at your pic, it's tough to confirm with the cocked tape measure, but that seems just about right.
Unfortunately, I'm still in limbo about exactly how much minimum clearance is advisable. Running 245/45/17 on the oem rims reduces front suspension clearance by 0.59", leaving about 0.60", and there has been at least one post about rubbing with this setup. Yet in my recent Minimum recommended suspension clearance? post, the only response suggests 0.455" may be doable. So...anybody want to cast the tiebreaker, or should we just use 0.60" as a minimum clearance requirement when playing with the calculators?
Anyways, I appreciate the effort it took for you to take and post these pics. I would have measured my own, but I still have the winter wheel/tire pkg on. Thanks again.

Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
Just a quick note for you guys. I have a sedan loweered 1" with Eibachs. I ran SSR GT-3's with the following specs
front 18X8.5 + 37 offset with 245/40/zr18 S-03's
rear 18X9.5 +55 offset with 275/35/zr18 S-03's
Fitment was perfect and looked like stock.

Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
Ok guys, I just mounted a set of SF-challenges on my ride:
19x8.5 +34, 245/35/19 Nitto 555s
19x9.5 +40, 275/30/19
I also have a 1" Eibach drop. The fronts look great, no rubs no probs; perfect. As for the rears, it rubs ever so slightly on bumps. I will have to roll the fenders. A +48 offset would probably not have rubbed. It's NOT a good idea to go any more aggressive than +40 for rears on the setup I have. But I have to admit......it looks WICKED!!

19x8.5 +34, 245/35/19 Nitto 555s
19x9.5 +40, 275/30/19

Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
I know this is an inappropriate post but I also know people who frequent this post would be interested . . .
I'm looking to get rid of my wheels in the next 2-3 months.
They are :
Work VS-XX
19x8.5 +38 front
19x9.5 +42 rear
falken st-115 tires 245/275
wheels are black faced with polished lip, fit perfectly on the sedan without any rubbing, my car is pretty low, and even with 4 people, there is zero clearance problems. the wheels are 4 months old and have approx. 3K miles on them, selling because i've got my eyes on a set of 20's, they'll take 2-3 months to build, so if you're looking for a future purchase, this is it, I'm in southern california, email me and come by to see em : dmatob1@hotmail.com - price is $2700 obo

Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
I want to use 18" wheels with all four wheels and tires identical in size.
What are the widest rims I can use? What offset range is acceptable for fit? What are the largest/widest tires I can use that will fit both front and rear.

Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
Just as a FYI... I recently put on my sedan 18x8.5 rims with 245/40 tires and there are no rubbing issues at all with the stock sports suspension package.
Re: Sedan Wheel Fitment Chart
FYI...decided to go with the Axis Hiro's in 19X8.5 with a 35 offset all the way around for a sedan with 245/40/19's. Car is lowered with Eibach springs...fits like a glove..no rubbing and no fender rolling. Clearance between tire and fender is about the width of a #2 pencil. Will try to post pics after finals if anyone is interested.
