Exclamation 20" staggered tire sizes? Help.

Wondering what the real deal is on a 20" setup.

im running
20x8.5 front
20x9.5 rear

what tires size can I run with. I see people saying 245 or 255 in front then I see 275/285 rear. whats the best profile. 30 or 35? or both? TIRERACK.....says running 35/ in front and 30/ in rear will make the VDC act up. Anyone?

You can go with a 255/35/20 275/35/20 or 245/35/20 275/30/20.

I'm running 255/30/20 and 285/30/20. No VDC issues, and it's fairly close to being in spec.

we are talking coupes........with 9.5 rear?

255 in front no rubs?

stretching 285 on a 20x9x5? no rubs or more side wall to protect the rim from curbage?

I'm thinking of that combo for my 07 sedan on 9" front and 10" rear. Everyone's gonna think I'm nuts, but I'm getting custom offset wheels made and trying to do this without coming out the fenders or rubbing. If I absolutely have to, I'll back down.

I'm concerned about the look of the tire sidewall. What wheel widths are you running?
