storaging stock wheels?

gotta quick question for u guys... i took off my stock 18" wheels eversince i bought the car and its been sitting in the garage til now. i was wondering if its better to storage the wheels w/ air in it or should i let the air out? cuz those stock tires are about 5 yrs old now (from its manufacture date). just wondering which is the best way to keep the tires in the long run? thnx in advance...

i usually have air in it, around 30-32psi. keep it away from the sun,
any oils, high moisture. best to keep it in a dry cool place.

lay it on the side like what i did, or hang it on the wall. you can get
wheel hangers at www.griotsgarage.com

btw, you can get the base circle in the pict at homedepot pre-cut.
get some heavy duty casters and some screws and make it yourself.

Let's read that again, " STORAGE the wheels with air in it or should I let the air out?

STORAGE ???? WTF!!!!! And I know what this guy is saying but do the wheels hold air or do tires hold air??? He also states that he is storing wheels, PLURAL, yet leaving the air "in it" SINGULAR.

I'm going to date myself again but, when I was in school we were taught spelling and grammar. Spell check has made this country stupid.

A combination of the wheel and tire holds the air, without one, you can't store any air, so wheels is just a correct as tires. Wheels usually implies tires as well since they are usually installed/removed together, if it was just wheels, only someone who lacks any common sense would think they could hold air
