I've read about people having problems with using different brands or different "season" tires on the front or read but I haven't experienced them myself. I have stock RE050a on the front (with half wear) and new Falken 452 on the rear and have no problems. RIght now I have oem base 350z wheels with stock RE040 (summer) on the front and Michelin Alpins (winter) on the back with half treadware on both sets with no problems. So maybe I don't drive as aggressively as others here but I'm definitely a "spirited" driver as I went through my rear RE050as in 16K. So from my experience you should be fine as long as you're not gonna track your car.
