Will 20" rims with +42mm offset rub???

Will 20" rims with +42mm offset rub???

Will they rub also if I drop my G 1.5 inches??? thanks

do you have a coupe or sedan? how wide are the wheels? what size tires will you be running?

i hope it's a super wide wheel, hah. a +42 offset is beyond terrible (in my, and most other peoples', opinion)

^agreed... you may start shearing your strut if you running a high offset and wide rim

i doubt the wheel is very wide if he plans on running a 225 on it, unless hes planning a superstretch which in that case we'll just have to let him figure it out on his own

if i use a 225 tire and the offset is +42 and I roll the fenders will that be alright??? and will I be able to drop it also?

I'm still trying to figure this offset lingo still...correct me if i'm wrong but the +42 offset would bring the tire closer towards the center of the car? So no fender roll is required however it might rub your strut/springs being that offset brings it close to the car. Higher offsets means closer to the face of the rim. Zero offset would bring it right down the center of the total width of the rim(resulting to a deep lip and bring the tire and rims out towards and away from the car.
