i know most of members here go with 19 or 20s, but if you have some aftermaket 18s,

do you have any pics you can share?
ever regret not getting larger size(satisfied with the looks)?
if your car is lowered up to 1 or 1.5", does your tire rub anything?

my car is still on order, but my first inteded mod is getting some forged 18s. i have had horrible experience with low profile tires due to road condition (my previous ride went through 6 front tires in two years). stock 18s look decent, but i think i will need something that stands out. thx for any input..

I went from the stock 18s to Nismo 18s. (8.5" front and 9.5" rear) I put Dunlop SP9000s, 245/40 and 275/40 on them. A real improvement in handling. Wheels are forged, 18 lbs each vs. 30 for the stock. Look great on the car. I don't have a digital camera yet, so no pictures. I've seen them for $1,799 for the set. IMO, 18s are the correct size for the Coupe. They are the best compromise for handling, looks, etc. The VDC likes them, with the tire sizes I mentioned. The offsets Nismo uses are also just right for the car.

The 18 inch come standard on the 6mt. The AT also come with 18inch if you buy the performance package.

The Nismo rim are nice. They are made by rays engineering whom also make volks racing. I had my eye set on the nismo rims but i wanted the 19 inch instead of the 18. I didn't want to upgrade from 18 inch to 18 inch. During that time, they didn't have 19 inch yet. So i went with the te37.

I saw a post here that one member have the nismo 19 inch, dang it looks sweet too.

what are the offset on those wheel? did you lower your coupe also? anyway they look great.

Offsets are +25mm front and +30mm rear. No lowering, the front scrapes as it is when I back out of my driveway.

why is 245/40/18 used for the front instead of 255/40/18, which according to the calculator, is a better match to factory 18s diameter?
