Tire pressure question.

This is pretty novice, I know, but what kind of tire pressure are you guys running? I just put my new 19" GT-1s on less than a week ago and it looks like the fronts especially are pretty low on air. I would suspect it is mostly due to the fact that they were shipped from CA to VA and its like 20 degrees here right now. SO, I was going to put some air in them today during lunch but wanted to make sure I was putting the right amount. I am guessing they should still be somewhere in the 32-34psi range??

Thanks!

I would start out at 34psi and see how they feel on the road.

I tend to use an extra couple of pounds to help the rim
absorb blows.. <36>

Since I use 100Y Dunlop sport maxx in the rear and stock Pilot in front, my tire pressure is 35 for front and 40 for rear.

If I set 35 in the rear, the tires would be obviouely underinflated, which can be observed with eyes.

Yeah, I still feel like they need more air... feels spongy or something. The front seems to want to catch and turn the car, I find myself hacing to pull it back a good bit.

Put in a couple more pounds and see how it feels. It's not going to hurt. Try 35 lbs.

Cool

Experiment and see what works best for your car. Are you lowered?

With my set up.....39 f & 38 r works best and keeps the tires from wearing as bad on the inside edges.

not lowered...yet. I will be next Sat.

I think it may be an alignment / toe issue as well. All of that should be taken care of in the 4-wheel alignment after lowering, correct?

AND sweet ride Brando!!
