Black or Chrome?

I have an 03 Black G35 coupe and was wondering what everyone thought of the idea of black or chrome wheels. I have my eye on some 20" dropstars, but not sure what to do.

Also my car is an AT, is it worth playing with the engine or just a waste of money.

neither.

gunmetal, silver, gold, bronze.

but if i HAD to choose between your choices, something high polished that looks like chrome would be nice. search: psycraft

Imo if you don't want to go with a color ie black or gunmetal, I hate gold myself. (Sorry guys it just reminds me of the '80s when people bought gold mesh wheels.) I would go with polished aluminum also. I had a set of polished aluminum rims on my last car and they were great. Everyone thought they were chrome but I never had to worry about nicks or chipping chrome. I just
washed em and about every 2-3 months I'd polish em real good with mothers
wheel polish they looked great for the 3 + yrs they were on the road.

Black vs Chrome............

Like most of our members have said, "Don't do either!" Black would have
been cool in '03 but this is '07. Do a search and then check out the cars
on the gallery. Between these two you'll get a better idea of what looks
good on your Black G. You might find what your looking for on Marketplace.
Someone's always de-moding there cars at trade-in time......good luck!

+1 on the gold rims looking like the are from the 80's. I hate it. That fad will be gone as fast as it started and in a few years you will look at it and say how ridiculous it looks with them. I am not a big fan of chrome either, bling is out as well. I still like black but I am biased. Polished is the safe bet.

+100000. Definitely no chrome, and no black unless you like the police car look.

Go for the chrome. You know what? Go for what ever style you want. It's your damn car. If it looks good to you then it's the one you should get. Post some pics when you do put them on the car. Good luck!

I like chrome. Gets a lot more looks than a regular painted wheel and you can see the design well. One black wheel with a polished lip is the same as another to me, its so hard to see the spokes!

Chrome/polished/silver/gold is all gravy.
