You'll be fine, remember most cars don't have full size spares and people use them all the time.

What happened to your tire though? Did you run over something or did you just run the tire down to the threads?

it should be ok for short distances...but I wouldn't recommend driving around for a long time or at high speeds with it. The dynamics of the car changes considerably when you mix and match. Just play it safe and put your stockers back on until the wheel is fixed, if its gonna be a while.

Sorry to hear about that. I had the same problem this week.

I am not sure about the "X" but this would be ok on the rwd.

tires

Lots of people will drive it as if nothing happened. But if it was your rear tire and if you have a rear wheel drive. One tire will spin faster than other and that mean it will put your lsd to over load and may burn up all clutch disk in the lsd.Limited slip differential.

well from my experiences with other awd cars, tire size differences does have a impact on the awd system. AS 05BLACK6MT said, the different tire sizes wreaks havoc on your awd system for it appears 1 tire is going at a different rate than the others. this causes your car to think that 1 tire is "slipping" and will be constantly will try to compensate. also, you can't just replace 1 tire on an awd system, but have to replace a 4 to make sure they match in tread depth, which affects your overal diameter of the tire.

You can take out the fuse for the front transfer case, making the car RWD. The AWD System might be thinking "slip" and the light might come on but it wont be able to engage the front clutch/transfer and it wont be able to mess up that front diff.
