Re: Tein H Tech/ S Tech
i wouldn't recomment the high tech. i have them , and they are very soft. stiffer then stock in the front, and the car certainly is much stiffer and rolls less, but i overall do not like them.
i chose them because they lower a good amount in the front, without lowering too much in the back. i suggest you go with tein basics or eibachs. tein s techs seem to lower the car a lot (2" drop? come on!). tein basics are only 500 or so more then tein springs. thats the road i am going once i get some money.

Re: Tein H Tech/ S Tech
Well it makes sense for one to say both springs are very soft, they use spring rates that are softer than oem and only 11lbs stiffer in the front with the S-tech. Plus they transfer a large abount of roll stiffness to the front, meaning they will increase understeer. Of course it depends on what you care about and how your willing to take into account known tuning laws. Front to rear balance differences listed below won't amount to much up to 5% or 10%. Go beyond that and they will make a difference, what will matter is if you choose to care about what the large differences on some setups will do to how your car ends up behaving. Buyer beware, people tend to not admit when a given setup has some negitive qualities, they tend to only talk about the good. Negitive reports are theirfore rare, but that does not serve other members well. We need to hear the good AND the bad on product reviews. And to many people rush to post reviews without sufficient mileage on the new setup.

On the Tein Basics I have serious concern on the amount of drop the have in the front on the sedan and their front to rear spring rate balance transfers to much to the front at 17% (ok it's not as bad as some, but I do not want more understeer) Setting them up per Tein's instructions you will drop the front 2.5" and the rear 1.1". The max they can be set to is a 1.6" in the front and no drop in the rear. Problem is 1.6" is to low for me and I highly doubt that the front springs will remain under load towards full suspension extention. My solution would be to buy a pair of 1" taller front springs from Tein ($165) that are also slightly softer

Re: Tein H Tech/ S Tech
What do you mean softer? Is the ride less stiff and car will noticably wobble more? (move up & down)
I'm interested in lowering the car. People say do not go with Eibach spring. So I'm looking at buying Tein spring.
TEIN H tech gives only 0.6" so I want to go with TEIN S.tech solution which will give me 1.2" drop.
Let me know in the long run if this will cause problem to my struts (shock absorber) and I will start bottoming-out.
Anyone who has installed Tein S.Tech have any feedback or comment?
