Falken FK452 vs. BFG KDW2 vs Nitto NT555 Which is better?

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask your opinion on the above tires. Right now i'm running the standard OEM tires which are great however given that my G is a lease and the price of the tires are hella expensive! I'm trying to look for an alternative that isn't quite as pricey but doesn't sacrifice on performance. You're input it greatly appreciated! Thanks!

FK452's or KDW2's for me. Nitto's arent bad tires, they're great for the price, just not as good as either of the other two.

i think any of the tires are good...but the nittos look really aggressive if you look at them from the side

I've had the 555's, and they suck when it's wet. Haven't tried the Falkens, but didn't hear the greatest things about the old FK451...unsure about the new FK452. Running the KDW2's right now, and they're great when it's dry. Not the best in the rain, but miles beyond the Nittos

I had the 555's and they were awesome on dry and not so great on the wet. They do have a great lip to protect your rim.

I now have the 452's which I have been 100% happy with wet and dry but they don't have that lip so I have to be extra careful not to mess up my rims.

Have heard the KDW's can be loud.

The KDW2 is definitely louder, and more so when tread is low (I had another set in the past). You can see why, looking at the tread pattern.

Thanks for the input guys!

I'm thinking of leaning toward the Falkens with what some of you have said. On the plus side they're great wet/dry. Minus no rim protection...How about tread life? I don't drive too fast these days so I'm hoping the life is good on them. TIA again!

BFG's hands down best tire out of the three. I had em on my last set of wheels and loved em.
